Liverpool Acoustic is proud to unveil its Autumn 2026 season – a run of standout shows celebrating harmony-rich folk, iconic albums performed in full, powerful songwriting, festive favourites, and world-class musicianship across the Music Room, The Citadel, and Philharmonic Hall.

With returning favourites, special album launches, and long-awaited debuts, this year’s programme brings together some of the most compelling artists on the scene.

The Lost Notes and Michell, Pfeiffer and Kulesh

Our season opens at the Music Room on Saturday 5th September with two headline sets in one night. The Lost Notes arrive as FATEA Band of the Year 2025, celebrated for harmony-rich songwriting, sharp wit and quietly dazzling musicianship. 

Michell, Pfeiffer and Kulesh bring close-harmony vocals, intricate arrangements and original songs shaped by English, American and Eastern European folk traditions.

Together they promise luminous harmonies, rich storytelling and performances full of heart.

OK Computer – A Tribute to Radiohead

Mike Ryan returns to the Music Room on Saturday 10th October with two full-album performances of Radiohead’s OK Computer, following his acclaimed shows The Bends and Nirvana’s Unplugged in New York.

Joined by the Paranoid Android Band, Mike recreates every texture, harmony and sonic twist of one of the most influential records of the last 30 years. Expect widescreen brilliance, emotional depth and an immersive live experience.

Merry Helloween

Merry Hell return to The Citadel, St Helens for their third triumphant resurrection of Merry Helloween – and this time it’s on Halloween night itself. The beloved folk-rock powerhouse lead a night of devilishly good music, spine-tingling harmonies and communal mischief.

Expect spooktacular musicianship, dancing that may raise the dead, and a room full of friendly ghosts, ghouls and folk-rock fanatics. Fancy dress encouraged.

Jennifer Vaudrey ‘Time Like Water’ Album Launch

Liverpool Acoustic presents the launch of Jennifer Vaudrey’s new album Time Like Water at the Music Room on Wednesday 4th November. Known for powerful vocals, honest songwriting and a commanding live presence, Jennifer brings a full band set packed with new tracks and old favourites.

With support from The Jesse Janes, this promises big songs, real emotion and a room full of energy.

In My Liverpool Home At Christmas

Following a run of sold-out shows under the In My Liverpool Home banner, this festive edition – inventively named In My Liverpool Home At Christmas – comes to the Music Room with two shows on Saturday 5th December.

Blending Liverpool songs, folk favourites and seasonal classics into a joyful winter gathering, Danny Jones, Emma Scarr, Paul Cook and Count John McCormick bring warmth, humour and rich musicianship.

They’ll be joined by members of the Singing Our Socks Off community choir. Expect rousing choruses, tender ballads and plenty of laughter.

My Darling Clementine – Together Apart

Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish return to the Music Room on Thursday 10th December with a special two-set show called My Darling Clementine – Together Apart. 

The first set dives deep into their back catalogue; the second spotlights their individual voices, with new solo material performed with a full band.

Their trademark blend of classic country duets, sharp storytelling and lush harmony promises an evening of warmth, wit and world-class songwriting.

Martyn Joseph

Martyn Joseph returns to the Music Room on Friday 15th January 2027 after a nine-month break from performing, ready to reconnect with audiences through poetic songwriting, razor-sharp social observation and pin-drop intimacy.

All his previous Music Room shows have sold out, and this new date promises refreshed energy, new stories and a renewed sense of purpose. Early booking is essential.

Down in Laurel Canyon

On Friday 22nd January 2027 Liverpool’s seven-piece time machine Down in Laurel Canyon reawakens the golden-age harmonies of The Mamas and The Papas, CSNY, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Carole King, James Taylor and more.

After four Music Room sellouts in 2025, the band are moving on up to the Philharmonic Hall stage with a host of special guests for a lush, nostalgic journey through the heart of Laurel Canyon.
