With just over a month to go, Liverpool Acoustic is looking forward to welcoming acclaimed Americana duo My Darling Clementine back to the Music Room at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Thursday 10th December for a very special performance, Together Apart.

Consisting of Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish, My Darling Clementine have built a reputation as one of the UK’s finest roots and Americana acts, combining classic country duets, rich storytelling and beautifully crafted songs exploring love, loss and hope.

Returning to Liverpool following a series of acclaimed appearances, this unique show offers audiences something a little different. Across two one-hour sets, the duo will celebrate both their shared musical journey and their individual artistic voices.

The first set will delve into the My Darling Clementine catalogue, featuring fan favourites, signature songs and some rarely performed gems from across their albums. The second set will showcase material from their respective solo projects, with both artists having released, or preparing to release, new solo albums during 2026.

Michael Weston King’s latest album, Nothing Can Hurt Me Anymore, has been widely praised since its release earlier this year, while Lou Dalgleish’s forthcoming solo album will be represented by songs performed live for the first time. Accompanied by a full band, these performances promise an intimate and deeply moving evening of exceptional songwriting.

Both solo albums emerged from experiences of personal tragedy and grief, yet their songs balance heartbreak with resilience and hope. It is this emotional honesty, combined with their effortless harmonies and unmistakable chemistry, that has made My Darling Clementine such a beloved presence on the UK Americana scene.

Liverpool Acoustic promoter Graham Holland said:

“Every time My Darling Clementine play for us they deliver something special. Their songs are beautifully crafted, moving and often very funny, and the connection between Michael and Lou is remarkable. Together Apart promises to be an unforgettable night and a fitting way to round off Liverpool Acoustic’s Music Room shows for 2026.”

Audiences can expect an evening of warmth, wit, outstanding musicianship and world-class songwriting from two artists at the very top of their game.
