The spooky season officially begins at the start of October, and Liverpool Acoustic is counting down the days to Merry Helloween — returning to The Citadel on Saturday 31st October for its most spine?tingling edition yet.
After last year’s triumphant return, Merry Hell rise once more for a night of fiery folk?rock, mischievous mayhem and Halloween?themed revelry.
This year’s show lands on Halloween itself, making it the perfect finale to a month of ghostly anticipation. Support is to be confirmed, but expect a suitably seasonal surprise.
Countdown to Halloween
Throughout October, Liverpool Acoustic will be sharing treats from the Merry Hell vaults — stories, memories, photos, videos, and more — building excitement like a Halloween advent calendar but without the chocolate-covered bugs. Fans can follow along on Liverpool Acoustic’s social channels as the clock ticks closer to the big night.
Merry Helloween first took over The Citadel more than a decade ago, becoming a beloved annual tradition before the venue’s seven?year closure. Since returning in 2024, the show has reclaimed its place as one of the most joyful, raucous and atmospheric nights in the calendar, blending Merry Hell’s trademark energy with a playful Halloween twist.
Tickets are available now for standing (sorry, we meant dancing!) in the stalls, and seating upstairs.
It’s Halloween, so approprately spookly dress is encouraged. There may even be a ghastly prize for the best dressed ghoul!
