Liverpool Acoustic is thrilled to announce the return of one of the UK’s most quietly influential and consistently brilliant songwriters, Charlie Dore, performing with long-time collaborator and celebrated multi-instrumentalist Julian Littman, at the beautifully intimate Prohibition Recording Studios next Thursday 28th May 2026.

We’re genuinely excited to be partnering with From The Whitehouse to bring Charlie back to Liverpool. Her live shows are renowned for their warmth, wit, emotional depth and musical craft — a rare combination that has earned her accolades from FATEA, Americana UK, and audiences across the UK. Many will know Charlie for her enduring hit Pilot Of The Airwaves, but her songwriting career spans recordings by Tina Turner, George Harrison, Celine Dion, Martha Wainwright, Ricky Ross and Paul Carrack, to name just a few.

Joined by Julian Littman — actor-musician, multi-instrumentalist and friend since drama school — the pair create a fast-moving, story-rich performance full of humour, instrument-swapping and the kind of easy chemistry that only decades of collaboration can produce. Their Still Curious tour continues to win new fans while delighting long-time followers.

Support on the night comes from John Jenkins and Pippa Murdie, both respected voices in the Liverpool scene and perfect complements to Charlie’s thoughtful, finely crafted songwriting.

This is an intimate venue with a strictly limited number of tickets, and demand is already strong. Anyone wishing to experience Charlie and Julian up close — in one of Liverpool’s most atmospheric listening rooms — is encouraged to book as soon as possible.

Tickets (£22.50) are available now from Prohibition Recording Studios.
