Celine Carroll is a songwriter and performer with a rare talent, a fresh perspective, a guitar, a piano and a pocketful of songs. Celine hails from Dublin, Ireland and has released her third album, 'Such A Beautiful Light, (featured album of the week RTE Radio 1). Taking her inspiration from artists as diverse as Paul McCartney, Carole King and Burt Bacharach, her music has been described as everything from soft jazz to damn fine acoustic soul.
Jackie Hayden, Hotpress Magazine, wrote 'A real gem. We don't really need another singer-songwriter, but when they're this good, you just have to rearrange the furniture and make room'.
With a back catalogue of over 200 songs behind her, Celine has three albums to her credit. Her first album, Catch You As You Fall contained 10 self-penned songs and was produced by Declan Sinnott (Christy Moore/Mary Black). This album harvested a wealth of subject matter from the loss of innocence to sitting on the fence too long!! This album also provided Frances Black with a song, which became the title track of her album, Don't Get Me Wrong' during her brief departure from the folk scene.
Celine's second album entitled 'Itch' is a collection of 10 original songs which take the listener on a complete musical journey that encompasses the highs and lows of love, loss and longing via a collection of catchy choruses and hang-your-shirt-on-them hooks. As well as writing all the tracks, Celine also produced the album.
Celine's third and latest album, Such A Beautiful Light has been well received by radio listeners and live audiences throughout Ireland. The featured 'album of the week' on RTE Radio1, has resulted in extensive airplay for Celine in Ireland and parts of the UK.

Ronan Boyle is a Singer/Songwriter from Ireland currently living and playing in Liverpool. He developed a love of music from a very young age being surrounded by a very large musical family and has had a passion for singing all his life.
He writes catchy pop songs in a folk and 70’s rock style, drawing influences from The Faces, Ryan Adams, Neil Young, Ray Lamontagne and many others, and has lived all over England for the last few years collaborating with many musicians, playing countless venues and forming his unique sound and emotive singing style.
Ronan released an EP in Ireland and on iTunes in the summer of 2009 under the name of Blind Dog Moon which was received with much acclaim.
In Liverpool he has formed a band of top quality musicians from all over England and Norway. The band have been playing together since late 2009 and have been writing together to create a sound unique to them pulling in many more influences from Mark Knopfler to Van Morrison and developing into a fully formed unit playing to rave reviews all over Liverpool.
The band has released 4 limited edition EP’s this year under the name Foothills, all recorded at Parr St Studios, and worked with producer Stuart Kershaw of OMD and Atomic Kitten fame. They are currently spending the summer writing and rehearsing new material in preparation for a Norwegian tour in September and building up material for their first album.

Lizzie NunneryIt is hard to believe that Terry Coyne (Flute, vocals), one of Merseyside's most respected and influential traditional musicians, has never played at St Michael's Irish Centre.
