Tickets selling fast for Liverpool Acoustic’s exciting Autumn 2023 season

Liverpool Acoustic announce their brand new season for Autumn 2023 with one show already completely sold out.

The season opens on Saturday 16th September when Scouse/Norwegian duo Nunnery Norheim (Lizzie Nunnery and Vidar Norheim) launch their brand new album I Saw The City at the Music Room, with support from alt-folk singer-songwriter Sara Wolff.

All premium tickets have already sold out, but regular tickets can be bought from the Philharmonic Hall box office.

On Sunday 24th September the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall will be throwing open its doors for a day filled with music. In addition to ‘taster sessions’ in the main hall with music from the full Royal Liverpool Phiharmonic Orchestra and the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company, this free event sees a number of organisations presenting takeovers in the Music Room.

Doors open at 12.00pm with the first takeover in the Music Room at 12.30pm. Alongside Liverpool Acoustic there will be takeovers from MILAP, Luma Creations, and Africa Oyé through to 10.30pm.

Mike Ryan (Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge winner 2023) will be opening the Liverpool Acoustic takeover at 3.00pm, followed by local duo Visions of Albion at 3.30pm, and Americana three piece Motel Sundown at 4.00pm.

Thursday 9th November sees a real treat when Anthony John Clarke and Dave Pegg grace the stage at the Music Room.

AJ is a renowned singer-songwriter with a modern day Irish comic wit. Peggy is a virtuoso musician famed for playing with folk legends Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull and the Ian Campbell Folk Group. Together AJ and Peggy ‘fuse and amuse’ perfectly to delight the audience.

Support is from North West singer-songwriter and musician Corrie Shelley.

All premium tickets have already sold out, but regular tickets can be bought from the Philharmonic Hall box office.

On Sunday 10th December we’re finishing off the Autumn season in style with Tapestry: A Tribute to Carole King.

This show sees local duo Visions of Albion performing King’s legendary 1971 album Tapestry with a full band. King’s second album features the hits I Feel The Earth Move, It’s Too Late, You’ve Got A Friend, and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.

The evening show has already SOLD OUT, so we’ve put on an extra matinee show starting at 3.00pm.

Tickets for the matinee are already selling fast with only a handful of premium tickets left, so you’ve better be quick if you don’t want to miss out on this pre-Christmas treat!
