Merry Hell release their career defining set Let The Music Speak For Itself this month. The Wigan eight-piece recently played two sold out shows for Liverpool Acoustic at The Philharmonic Music Room (afternoon and evening). Neil Campbell – Journey Into Space

Neil Campbell has been dazzling audiences with his virtuosic guitar playing for over twenty years through various collaborations. The multi-talented musician continues his prolific run of releases with his brand new album Journey Into Space (released in time for Bandcamp Friday). Bobhowla – Tainted

Bobhowla is the brainchild of Southport singer-songwriter Howard Doupe. After playing several live shows last year, the four-piece have since retreated to the studio to record some new music. John Jenkins – Christopher Roberts / Shadows

John Jenkins has been setting the Americana scene alight with a steady stream of albums. The award-winning artist released the well-received album If You Can’t Forgive, You Can’t Love on Fretsore Records. His forthcoming album Tuebrook will be launched at Prohibition in Liverpool on Friday 28th July, preceded by the singles Christopher Roberts and Shadows. johnjenkinsmusic.com

April Moon – The Other One Was You

April Moon are a songwriting duo featuring Jaime April and Jason Moon. Influenced by Fleetwood Mac, their music is characterised by close vocal harmonies and intertwined guitars. Based in Liverpool, the Canadian duo have maintained a busy profile of live shows and regular releases. Their current album The Other One Was You has been receiving rave notices. aprilmoonband.com

The Folk Doctors – Edgelands

The Folk Doctors are a celtic folk duo featuring Ultan Mulhern on vocals and John Armstrong on vocals and acoustic guitar. They recently shared the bill with April Moon at Carnival. Their second album Edgelands was recorded at Crosstown Studios. One of the songs The King Of Scotland is an accapella that best displays their distinctive vocal blend. thefolkdoctors.bandcamp.com
