It’s billing itself as Europe’s largest festival under one roof, and with 200 acts, 160 bands, musicians and DJs, 32 promoters, 12 stages, plus puppets, politics, fashion, Pillbox Vintage Fair, spoken word, gaming, food, cabaret, comedy, crafts [pause for breath…], philosphy, retro gaming, drink, visuals, workshops, stencilling, and theatre who are we to disagree? Oh, did we mention the skating, flashdance, and instrument amnesty?

It runs all weekend, with the following times.
  • Friday, 5.00pm to 2.00am
  • Saturday, 12.00pm to 4.00am
  • Sunday, 12.00pm to midnight.

Apart from the fact that it’s a mighty fine and incredibly audacious and ambitious event that’s worthy of our support and which we’d be plugging anyway, there’s also a heap load of acoustic music taking place. We’d expect nothing less from the Under the Influence guys!
Liverpool Acoustic is hosting the Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon in the Cafe (inside the main entrance) on Saturday 12th February from 2.15pm to 6.30pm. On the bill are Mary McCombs, Terry Gray, Stephen Manley, Megan Thomas, James Munro, Stuart Todd, Jo Bywater, Joe Rhead, Tom George, and Barry Briercliffe.
