If you thought November was that dull month between Halloween and Christmas when nothing much happens, then think again.
Liverpool Acoustic is proud to present the amazing Jon Gomm in his first Liverpool concert for over four years. Leeds-based Jon is a singer-songwriter and virtuoso performer who uses one acoustic guitar to create drum sounds, bass lines and melodies simultaneously. His songs draw on a range of influences and styles, including blues and soul.
Support on the night is from Mark Wilson, St Helens’ finest percussive guitarist, and Megan Thomas, winner of Open Mic UK 2009 and Make It Break It 2010.
You say goodbye…
Well done to the Blues at the Marina crowd for raising £105 for the Children’s Heart Association during the Toby Walker gig last month. They’re hoping to do the same again at their next gig which features Doug MacLeod from St Louis, USA. See the Diary Selection Box above for more details.
And as you can see from the Diary Selection Box above there’s an incredible number of acoustic events taking place on the local scene. If you’d like to join the Liverpool Acoustic team and contribute reviews of live events and music releases then get in touch with us.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
