WORRY DOLLS
worrydollsmusic.com

London indie-folk duo WORRY DOLLS’ music is packed full of sublime harmonies, atop a plethora of varied instruments. Bonding initially due to having the same fiery red locks, what sets Worry Dolls apart is their tongue-in-cheek, honest lyrics and their refusal to sing “cliché love songs”.

Many will have seen Worry Dolls performing at Glastonbury Festival, supporting Joan Armatrading on tour, or heard their music played on Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music. Some on Merseyside will remember them from their time at LIPA.

With a strong online following, tracks from Worry Dolls’ debut EP have clocked up over 91k views on YouTube, and over 77k spins on SoundCloud.

Since their first EP, Worry Dolls’ sound has grown as their influences have shifted more towards the rootsier sounds of Nashville & the Appalachian mountains – still with a strong UK stamp.

In their time together as a duo, they’ve forged something substantially stronger than a hair colour match. A beautiful and captivating result.

KATY GALLOWAY

KATY GALLOWAY is a 16 year old singer-songwriter from Northwich, Cheshire. She has  been gigging since she was 14 and has been lucky enough to play at some fantastic venues in the North-West of England near Manchester and Liverpool. She is currently finishing off the recording of her debut EP, Games which will be available in June/July. Her passion for music began at a young age, she loved singing since she was very little and when she was 7 began to play the flute. She carried on this interest as she grew up and when she was 14, she started to write songs about her experiences in her life. She taught herself the guitar to accompany these songs and has now began to spread that interest into other instruments such as the piano and ukulele.

Currently she’s at college studying for my AS Levels in English Literature, English Language, Theatre Studies and Performing Arts. After college she hopes to be able to maintain a career singing and performing no matter how difficult it may be!
