Liverpool Acoustic Open Mic takes place every Monday evening at Sound Food and Drink on Duke Street. Hosted by Three Minute Hero (Stuart Todd) each night features a mix of booked acts and open mic. If you want to play and would like to book your slot in advance you can do this by posting on the event page at facebook.com/liverpoolacoustic/events
This month Liverpool Acoustic Live takes place at the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street on Friday 23rd May.
Headlining the night are Amanda Kostadinov from Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, and Berlin-based singer-songwriter Richard de Bastion (father of Roxanne de Bastion). Amanda and Richard will be joining together for the first time since 1997 with a showcase of original material.
Support on the night is local singer-songwriter She Drew The Gun who has featured recently on Dave Monks’ BBC Introducing Merseyside show.
Tickets will be available in advance for £5 from wegottickets.com/liverpoolacoustic or for £6 on the night. Doors open at 7.45pm with the music starting at 8.15pm.

Liverpool Acoustic Newsletter – May 2014
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
