Record Store Day – Saturday 21st April 2012

Record Store Day takes place on Saturday 21st April, so why not get out and support your local independent record store?

To mark the occasion News From Nowhere have extended their opening hours from 10.00am to 8.00pm, so now there’s no excuse for not popping in to peruse the best selection of world, roots, and folk CDs in the city.

Throughout the day there will be displays of CDs, live music, refreshments, and lots of bargains to be grabbed from the £3 bargain box (or four for a tenner!). The live music is provided courtesy of Stan Ambrose on his harp (1.00pm), and the enchanting acoustic sounds of Sonnenberg (4.00pm).

News From Nowhere is at 96 Bold Street, and their website is newsfromnowhere.org.uk
And don’t forget they’re also a book shop and can order any UK book in print.
