Midweek Melodies open mic (Dr King’s birthday!) @ 81 Renshaw 29/08/18

Midweek Melodies is Liverpool Acoustic’s weekly open mic. It takes place from 8pm to 11pm every Wednesday in the front bar at 81 Renshaw and features one or two booked guests between lots of lovely open mic slots.

This week we celebrate regular host Dr Derek King‘s birthday – no cards or gifts please, just bring your music and/or your listening ears!

Musicians can sign up in advance on our facebook page to secure a slot, or just turn up early.

Featured guest this week: King & Byrne

As always we encourage performers to arrive early and stay after they’ve played to support other performers. We have a decent PA at the venue, a mic and stand, and some cables as well – if you need extra mics and things please bring your own along. Oh, and please bring your instrument too (i.e. snap your own strings!)
