Phil Cooper is a contemporary singer-songwriter from Bath who’ll be visiting Mathew Street’s View Two Gallery on the evening of Friday 28th October as part of an extensive UK tour. One of the main people behind the Village Pump Folk Festival, Phil is a thought-provoking songwriter whose live performances have drawn comparisons with Neil Finn, Glenn Tillbrook and Ben Folds.
Support is from top local vocal harmony duo Limerance who’ve been winning new fans left, right and centre with their performances at the Liverpool Acoustic open mic, and the recent Flyover Takeover.
Completing the lineup is Alison Benson who impressed everyone with her innovative ukulele-backed songs at the Folk-by-the-Minute event as part of Folk Festival on the Dock.
