Can you write a new song based on a theme?
Can you write that song within 24 hours?
If the answer to all these questions is ‘yes’ then the Liverpool Acoustic 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge is made for you!
After a successful launch in 2018, Liverpool Acoustic is once again teaming up with Threshold Festival to introduce a unique challenge to the region’s songwriters.
A theme will be unveiled at 7.00pm on Tuesday 26th March on the Songwriting Challenge website and across social media channels. Songwriters will then have 24 hours to write a new song that fits the theme.
The first 20 songwriters to complete their song and register it will be invited to perform it at the Showcase Event on Saturday 30th March at 24 Kitchen Street as part of Threshold Festival.
The Showcase Event runs from 1pm to 4pm and is free entry.
Entries to the 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge are limited, and performance places at the Showcase Event will be allocated in the order registered.
