Headlining this event is award-winning songwriter, Danny McMahon with support from 15 year old Miles Temp.
Having started his Country Music career in late 2017, Danny and his own brand of Country/Pop music have gone from strength to strength to strength. He was named UK Country Artist of The Year in 2019, as well as Male Vocalist Of The Year at the 2020 International Singer Songwriter Awards.
In 2020 he signed his first Publishing deal stateside with Merf Music and he is now working with Nashville heavyweight Rick Barker who is best known for his work with Taylor Swift.
Danny McMahon is known for his authentic and honest lyrical content, combined with a charming, infectious blend of classic country and accessible pop sounds. Since the release of his debut single ‘What It’s Like’ and accompanying EP ‘Making Memories’ in 2017, Danny has been inspired to create a unique sound that will be relatable to and welcomed by a range of audiences. Danny became the first UK artist to attend and perform at Springboard Festival, CA and as a result, was invited to write and record with 5-time Grammy nominated and 27-dove nominated songwriter and producer Billy Smiley.
Danny’s journey has continued with the release of ‘Momentarily’ [EP – 2018) and ‘Boys Cry Too’ [EP – 2019] which reached #2 in the UK Country iTunes Album chart and includes the #1 UK Country single ‘When I See You’. Danny has been recognised with a plethora of awards and finished 2019 touring Sweden [Live at Heart], Italy [Voghera Country Festival], Nashville and the UK. Danny’s latest single ‘Lonely’, described to ‘capture the purity and sincerity surrounding the artists individual and charismatic vocal’ reached #4 in the UK Country iTunes singles chart. The latest single has been featured on BBC Radio Wales A-list and has had regular play on Chris Country.
2020 saw Danny play in Berlin, Germany [Country Music Meeting], Harrisburg, PA [Millennium Music Conference]. He also later that year claimed the “Male Voclaist Of The Year” Award at the International Singer Songwriter Awards.
Danny’s brand new single ‘My Kinda City’, co-written with Nashville’s Tyler Bank reached #1 in the UK Country iTunes Chart and Top 100 in the all-genre charts. His latest single “Best Worst Habit” has already topped 90,000 streams on Spotify.
