Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, and reviews of music releases and gigs. This content is available for free via email subscription. Liverpool Acoustic also hosts its own shows at venues including the Music Room and LEAF on Bold Street.

Baby’s In Black The Beatles A to ZSunday 16th August 2020 This week’s Beatles cover is ‘Baby’s In Black’ from Beatles For Sale, a slightly strange song in which the narrator laments a mourning woman’s unwillingness to take up with him. I’ve long assumed it to be about Astrid Kirchherr.Continue Reading

Here, There and Everywhere The Beatles A to ZWednesday 5th August 2020 Today marks 54 years since The Beatles released the ‘Revolver’ album, so I’ve jumped a fair bit ahead alphabetically to cover ‘Here, There and Everywhere’. In: news and reviews, The Beatles A to Z

Another Girl The Beatles A to ZSunday 5th July 2020 For this week’s A-Z Beatles cover, I decided I’d try and make it sound a little less like the Fab Four and a little more like The Rolling Stones. But who else do you think it sounds like? Be sureContinue Reading
