The Bends Live: Mike Ryan’s Powerful Tribute to Radiohead’s Breakthrough Album Comes to the Music Room in November

After two sold-out tributes to Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged in New York, acclaimed vocalist Mike Ryan returns to the Music Room at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall with a brand-new show — this time celebrating Radiohead’s landmark 1995 album The Bends.

Backed by the dynamic Street Spirit Band, Ryan will perform two intimate sets on Saturday 1st November 2025: a matinee at 3:00pm and an evening show at 8:00pm.

From the aching vulnerability of Fake Plastic Trees to the explosive riffs of Just and the haunting finale Street Spirit (Fade Out), The Bends marked Radiohead’s transformation into one of the most influential bands of their era. This tribute offers a faithful yet emotionally resonant live performance of the full album, plus select fan favourites from across their catalogue.

Mike Ryan’s previous shows earned standing ovations and sold out well in advance — praised for their authenticity, intimacy, and emotional depth. With The Bends, he turns his attention to one of the most beloved alt-rock records of the 1990s, inviting audiences to experience its brilliance in a live setting that’s both powerful and unforgettable.

Whether you’re a lifelong Radiohead fan or simply curious to hear The Bends performed in full, this is a rare opportunity to catch the show at a time that suits you — but tickets won’t last long.
