
Anthony John Clarke and Colum Sands
Anthony John Clarke kicks off Liverpool Acoustic’s new season of live music on Saturday 13th September when he takes to the stage with popular Irish songwriter and broadcaster Colum Sands. AJ’s previous shows with Fairport Convention’s Dave Pegg and Countdown legend Richard Digance sold out, and this year’s show at the Music Room is sure to pull a crowd.

Liverpool Philharmonic Open Day
Sunday 28th September sees the return of the Liverpool Philharmonic Open Day. Liverpool Acoustic will be there with a Music Room takeover in the afternoon featuring performances from local artists Jessica Dives, She’s In The Trees, and Thom Morecroft. The whole event is free, so just turn up and enjoy the music!

Dylan on Bold St: Dylan Goes Acoustic
You love Dylan, we love Dylan, everybody loves Dylan! In fact Thom Morecroft loves Dylan so much he’s curating an evening of music which he’s calling Dylan on Bold Street: Dylan Goes Acoustic (see what he did there?). Expect classic hits and deep cuts performed by Danny Bradley, Jessica Dives, Grace Elizabeth Harvey, Liz Owen, John Witherspoon, Caitlin Gilligan, Paul Dunbar, Mike Blue, and hosted by Mr Morecroft.

Merry Helloween
After last year’s triumphant revival, Merry Helloween is back at its spiritual home The Citadel, St Helens on the evening of Saturday 25th October. This standing show is guaranteed to get the heart pumping, as everyone’s favourite folk rock band – Merry Hell – showcase songs from their new album alongside old favourites. With limited seating on the balcony, this show is a delight for old and young alike.

The Bends: A Tribute To Radiohead
After last year’s two amazing sold out shows playing tribute to Nirvana’s Unplugged in New York, Mike Ryan and his inventively renamed Street Spirit Band will be rocking the Music Room on Saturday 1st November with their brand new show The Bends: A Tribute to Radiohead. To celebrate 30 years of this breakthrough album Mike and the band will be playing it in its entirity at a 3pm matinee and an 8pm evening show. For fans of Radiohead and 90s rock this show is not to be missed!

Mark Radcliffe & David Boardman
Radio legend Mark Radcliffe and musical partner David Boardman play their rescheduled show at the Music Room on Tuesday 4th November. Described as “singing, songwriting, strumming and swigging buddies from the badlands of the Cheshire Plain” their act is one of classic simplicity: two voices, two guitars, some great original songs, the odd carefully chosen cover and the occasional rambling anecdote.

Down In Laurel Canyon
After two amazing shows in April, Down In Laurel Canyon are back at the Music Room on Saturday 30th November. Both the 3pm matinee and the 8pm evening shows sold out in April, and tickets for November are already limited. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

A Winter Union
Sunday 7th December sees Liverpool Acoustic’s very first Christmas show as we welcome A Winter Union to the Music Room. Featuring members of The Willows, alongside top folk duos Gilmore & Roberts and Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, A Winter Union is a festive folk band like no other. Expect soaring harmonies and exquisite musicianship as the band blast through a repertoire of brand-new, specially written songs, fresh arrangements of traditional carols, and seasonal classics from both sides of the Atlantic.

Martyn Joseph
Martyn Joseph returns to the Music Room on Saturday 24th January 2026. Every year his show sells out and every year there are disappointed fans who weren’t able to get a ticket in time. Last year there were two show, next year there’s just the one, so get your tickets before it’s too late.
