It Takes Two is an evening celebrating stunning close harmonies and fantastic original music. It takes place this coming Saturday 22nd February 2020 at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall’s prestigious Music Room, and features 30 minute sets from four of the very best vocal duos performing on Merseyside today.
Acoustic Americana duo Limerance (Calum Gilligan and Jenny Coyle) perform original songs with heartfelt, optimistic and interesting lyrics, plus sweet harmonies.
The Folk Doctors (John Armstrong and Ultan Mulhern) will be prescribing a course of folk with a local connection, while Visions of Albion (Samantha Shields and Daniel Ryan) present their own blend of music described as “English folk meets Laurel Canyon”.
Celebrating 40 years as a duo Rob Jones and Rob White have been making music together since their schooldays. They’ll be sharing “beautiful harmonies of which Simon and Garfunkel would be proud” (Ian D Hall, Liverpool Sound and Vision).
