Tuesday Tunes open mic restarts at 81 Renshaw this week
Tuesday Tunes – the Liverpool Acoustic weekly open mic – restarts this week on Tuesday 9th May 2017 in its new home 81 Renshaw.
81 Renshaw is an independent venue in the heart of Liverpool City Centre with a cafe at the front, a performance space at the back, and a record store in the basement. The open mic will be in the cosy cafe where delicious food and a range of drinks is available.
Running since September 2014, Liverpool Acoustic’s ever-popular open mic is hosted by Derek King, Pete King and David Neville King, and features plenty of open mic slots for willing performers. Musicians who are interested can arrive early and sign up on the night, or they can claim a slot in advance by making a request on the Facebook event.
Each night also features one or two guest performances, and Tuesday 9th May is no exception, with Southampton singer-songwriter Grant Sharkey and local band Gary Maginnis and the Like helping the event relaunch in its new venue.
A PA is available, and musicians are asked to bring their own instruments.
The event runs from 8.00pm to 11.00pm and an early arrival is advised for those wishing to grab a seat!
As always, it’s free entry.
So come and choose Tuesday Tunes at 81 Renshaw – you know it makes sense!
