Liverpool Acoustic Open Mic
at The Courtroom Cafe
57-59 Victoria Street, L1 6DE
The Liverpool Acoustic Open Mic returns after the Christmas break with a couple of important changes.
Starting Tuesday 10th January this ever-popular event now takes place every Tuesday evening from 8pm to 11pm at our new venue, The Courtroom Cafe.
The Courtroom Cafe is a lovely, warm and welcoming venue – they made us feel so very much at home when we were forced to move our last open mic of the year there at short notice. The cafe is in the city centre, and is situated in the Crown Building on Victoria Street, home to Liverpool’s Small Cinema. They offer great food and drink too!
As always Derek King, Pete King and David Neville King will be sharing hosting duties and playing a few tunes of their own. Each night will have one or two booked guests playing extended sets – sort of like a tasty filling in an open mic sandwich!
There will be plenty of open mic slots available, and anyone wishing to play can request one on our facebook event page or turn up early and cross their fingers that there will be a space free! Performers are encouraged to support others by turning up early and staying after they’ve played.

Musicians should bring their own instruments so they can snap their own strings! If your instrument of choice is the piano, the good news is that the Courtroom Cafe has one you can play.
New year, new night of the week, new venue, same great event! See you there!
