Relax this Bank Holiday Monday in the Liverpool Acoustic Garden
Liverpool Acoustic’s popular Liverpool Acoustic Garden returns for its third outing on the afternoon of Bank Holiday Monday 31st August 2015.
Formally held at the Bluecoat, this year the event has been transplanted into the cosy and welcoming Kazimier Garden on Seel Street.
Running from 12.00pm to 4.00pm, the afternoon features acoustic sets from eight local and international artists. Appearing will be melodic duo Geoghegan Jackson, local singer-songwriters Denis Parkinson, Ade Jackson, Katy McGrath and K’s Choice’s Derek King, and energetic duo Shoes4Brakes.
There will be performances from two special guests in the form of Berlin-born Roxanne de Bastion, and winner of the New Mexico Music Awards Best Folk Song 2014, Santa Fe’s Martha Reich.
The Kazimier Garden will be open all day from 11.00am serving fabulous food and drink, and is super family-friendly. Why not join us for lunch, an afternoon snack, or just drinks in the summer sunshine?

In addition to playing at the Liverpool Acoustic Garden, Martha Reich will also be performing at a special August edition of the Musical Cake Clubon the evening of Monday 31st August 2015.
As the name suggests, this event involves music and cake, and in honour of Martha (or should that be ‘honor’?) the theme is ‘international’.
Places are strictly limited (only 25!) and entry is granted on the presentation of (a) a home baked cake, and (b) £2 towards the tea and coffee fund.
