Hailing from Portaferry in Northern Ireland, twenty year old Rossa Murray, now based in Liverpool, delights us with his style of acoustic, indie folk rock. His musical influences come from artists like Paulo Nutini, Ben Howard and Bob Dylan, to name just a few.
Rossa has recently released his first EP, Only By The Wayside. Credit is given to Russell Cottier who mixed and produced the EP. Having distinctive vocals and with the backing vocals on some tracks from Rebecca O’Donnell he has finely tuned his craft. His work exhibits strong harmonies and lyrics that show passion and meaning, bringing you back down to earth. Rebecca’s voice perfectly in tune with Rossa’s make them a formidable duo.
Rossa has gigged and busked throughout the city and continues to perfect his art whilst continuing his studies.
Only By The Wayside is available for download on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
