LIVERPOOL ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC @ SOUND FOOD AND DRINK
Liverpool Acoustic’s weekly open mic kicks off again on Monday 5th January 2015 after a respectable one week break. It takes place every Monday at Sound Food and Drink on Duke Street. Alternate weeks are hosted by Liverpool Acoustic’s Three Minute Hero (Stuart Todd) and K’s Choice Acoustic (Derek King).
Each night starts at 8.30pm, runs through to 11.30pm, and features one or two booked acts alongside the open mic.
Musicians wishing to reserve an open mic slot can either turn up early and add their name to the list or request a slot online by posting on the facebook event page at facebook.com/liverpoolacoustic/events
LIVERPOOL ACOUSTIC LIVE
Liverpool Acoustic this month takes place on Friday 30th January 2015 (one week later than our regular fourth Friday slot) at our home on Mathew Street the View Two Gallery.
Headlining the event will be local acoustic duo Rob Jones and Rob White, who’ll be accompanied by Stuart Rimmer on saxophone and Graham Warner on the View Two Gallery’s grand piano.
Support on the night comes from near and far with local singer Ellie Smith, Manchester’s Richie Syrett, and and opening set from Spain’s Monday Blackbirds.
Tickets are available now in advance for £5.50 (including booking fee) from wegottickets.com/liverpoolacoustic or for £6 on the door on the night.
Doors open at our regular time of 7.45pm with the music starting at 8.15pm sharp.

All change…
- There are no changes to current, regular events that we know of…
You say goodbye…
- The Fresh Sessions once a month at Schmooze near Penny Lane have come to an end. The venue still has live music most Thursday evenings (and other nights) so if you fancy catching what’s on or even performing a set then get in touch here.
And I say hello…!
- Move along now, there’s nothing to see here…
