December is also the time of year when Liverpool Acoustic gatecrashes Acoustic Dustbowl’s Christmas Party to see out the year in style. We’d love it if you could join us. See further details below.
LIVERPOOL ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC @ SOUND FOOD AND DRINK
Liverpool Acoustic’s weekly open mic takes place every Monday at Sound Food and Drink on Duke Street. Alternate weeks are hosted by Liverpool Acoustic’s Three Minute Hero (Stuart Todd) and K’s Choice Acoustic’s Derek King.
- Monday 1st December – hosted by Three Minute Hero
- Monday 8th December – hosted by K’s Choice, with guest Cal Ruddy
- Monday 15th December – hosted by Three Minute Hero
- Monday 22nd December – hosted by K’s Choice
Each night starts at 8.30pm, runs through to 11.30pm, and features two or three booked acts alongside the open mic.
Musicians wishing to reserve an open mic slot can either turn up early and add their name to the list or request a slot online by posting on the facebook event page at facebook.com/liverpoolacoustic/events
LIVERPOOL ACOUSTIC AND ACOUSTIC DUSTBOWL
CHRISTMAS PARTY
Liverpool Acoustic joins forces with Acoustic Dustbowl for our annual joint Christmas party on Friday 12th December 2014 at the home of both events, Mathew Street’s View Two Gallery.
The night will be hosted by Acoustic Dustbowl’s The Southbound Attic Band who are joined by The Mudcat Brothers, Iain Till, and SheBeat. Joining the lineup from the Liverpool Acoustic camp are Stuart Todd, Derek King, and some bloke called Graham Holland.
Tickets are available now in advance for £5 from wegottickets.com/liverpoolacoustic or for £6 on the night, and all the money raised from tickets and the raffle goes to charity.
Doors open at the Acoustic Dustbowl time of 8.00pm with the music starting at 8.30pm.
