unity is set to host Liverpool’s very first Acoustic Festival.

Taking place over two days – Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd March 2014 – the Liverpool Acoustic Festival features over 15 upcoming artists, established acts, seminars, record fairs, Q&As, workshops and special events.

unity is opening up every available space and filling the building with soothing sounds and mellow vibes in a jam-packed weekend celebrating the glory and passion of acoustic and roots music.

Tickets are limited and advance booking is essential, so don’t miss out on this brand new, intimate festival experience.

• Saturday full-day pass 1pm – 11pm: £20 (save £4)
• Full weekend pass – Friday & Saturday:  £30 (save £6)

How to book:
Each session of the festival can be booked individually or you can book day and weekend passes. You can dip in and out of the festival or stay and see everything, the decision is yours! To book individual sessions simply go to the relevant page and add the correct number of tickets to the basket. If you book all the sessions or both Saturday sessions the discount will automatically be applied for the full-day or weekend passes!

With echoes of Carole King and Joni Mitchell, Liverpool-born Anna is a critically-acclaimed, award-nominated artist and has been featured on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music.

 Shannen Bamford
A soft, dark acoustic sound, with extensive play on local radio, Shannen can site Rebecca Fergusonand Mel C as fans. An unmissable talent.

 Thom Morecroft
A veteran on the Liverpool music scene, Thom has gained great critical-acclaim with his fantastic voice and folk sound, including 3 awards at Liverpool Music Awards (Best Male Artist).

 Andy Pink
Known most notably as the frontman of alt-rock outfit CAVES, Andy’s solo project combines beautiful melody with punk ethic, reminiscent of early Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen.

A Liverpool artist who has exploded over the past year thanks to performing a track off Paul McCartney’s latest album and posting it on YouTube, which went viral. A great talent.

 Megan Thomas
A Liverpool-born singer/songwriter has echoes of Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. Currently working with US producer Alan Glass (Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire andGeorge Benson)

 Edward Barlow
Best known as the frontman of Liverpool band, The Roscoes, Edward’s influences lie in 70’s rock, pop and soul. Combining great lyrics and melodies delivered by a brilliant voice.

 Just By Chance
A Liverpool acoustic duo who have won a legion of fans due to their acoustic-pop sound and lovely harmonies, reminiscent of a mid-90’s sound.

 Michael J Roach
Michael is an upcoming talent but is already making waves in the city with his powerful, loud, raspy voice and memorable alt-acoustic sound.

 Katreena Erin
Hailing from New Zealand but now based in Liverpool due to the love of the music scene, Katreena blends beautiful folk melodies with a pop sensibility.

Join guitar tutor Scott Russell, as he takes you through a range of acoustic guitar playing techniques. Starting with classical styles, travelling through blues, country, folk and fingerstyle fusions. Bring a guitar along or just come to watch as we explore all possibilities

 Sophia Ben-Yousef
An upcoming 17 year-old singer/songwriter/pianist named as ONE TO WATCH 2013 – Virgin Trains Liverpool International Music Festival Academy. An unmissable talent.

 Gary Edward Jones
A folk/soul sound with a beautiful voice to boot, Gary has been making waves across the Liverpool music scent for many years now, earning him a reputation as a formidable live act.
