Sonnenberg is a folk-type of band based around the singer/songwriter Zinney, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Dave Thom, and percussionist/tabla-ist Saul Hughes.
After the release of their debut album Fishing In The Pool (Probe Plus 60, 2007) the band has performed in a variety of formations (2, 4, & 6 piece) in small venues as well as larger ones such as the Shepherds Bush Empire and The Boardwalk (Sheffield).
The new album End of the Rain is due fore release in February 2012.
You can buy Fishing In The Pool from Probe Plus, Amazon, and iTunes.
Farrago are a musical duo playing original alt-folk. Although they are from the UK, they formed in Australia in mid-2010. Ian Bennett has been playing his original music in bands on the London music scene for over 10 years and here he joins with Ruth Dix, a classically trained pianist who has turned her hand to the melodica, with unexpected and exciting results. They are recently returned to the UK and are playing shows around the country and writing more new music!

Alex Hulme is a solo singer/songwriter from North West Lancashire signed to indie Label Cityscape Records. Mixing his use of unusual tunings inspired from artists such as Nick Drake, Fionn Regan and Foy Vance, Alex crafts pop tinted vocal melodies with rich folk guitar. Most notable for his use of on the spot live multi-layer looping of both his guitar and vocals in a very succinct and natural fashion which, along with his arrangement of vocal harmonies and guitar parts makes him stand out from the crowd.
Alex’s prolific gigging over the past year has seen him support artists such as Avi Buffalo, Emmy The Great, Dan Mangan, Allie Moss, The Secret Sisters and The Travelling Band, as well as being championed by Ultimate- Guitar.com, BBC Lancashire’s Sean McGinty and Liverpool’s Object of Dreams magazine among others including Somojo Magazine who made Alex their Male Artist of 2010. I love acoustic music. It really thrill the ears and sooth the heart. I would definitely attend the next acoustic party if my time permits me.
