The talented people over at Harvest Sun Promotions have been busy booking some equally talented musicians and they’ve got two cracking gigs coming up in the space of four days next week.
James Vincent McMorrow took the music world by storm last year when he released his debut album Early In The Morning. Now the Dublin-based musician is touring the UK and Europe before heading off for a handful of dates on the west coast USA, then heading back to play Glastonbury.
He’ll be appearing at the Static Gallery on Sunday 8th May, with support from Rhob Cunningham and Eva Petersen. We’re told that tickets are going very quickly – you can pick them up for £9 from Probe, or buy them from Ticketline. The Facebook event is here
Four days later, on Wednesday 11th May, Harvest Sun are pleased to present Icelandic singer and multi-instrumentalist Ólöf Arnalds at the Static Gallery.
With a voice that’s been favourably compared with Kate Bush, Ólöf’s critically acclaimed album features guest vocals from Björk. Support on the night is from SJ Downes and Jonas Alaska. Tickets are £7 from ticketline, seetickets, and in the flesh from Probe. The facebook event is here.
And anyone who turns up to the Ólöf Arnald gig with a James Vincent McMorrow ticket stub will get in for only £5 – nice offer!
