Liverpool Acoustic eXtra is a brand new night to take place on the second Friday of every month at the wonderful View Two Gallery on Mathew Street, Liverpool. Each month, Liverpool Acoustic eXtra will feature some of the best local artists from Liverpool and the surrounding area, and will be hosted by Barry Briercliffe and Stuart Todd.
This month’s gig on Friday 11th March will feature sets from Rae Clark, Miles Carrington, Megan Dooley and The Ratty Little Fingers.

THE RATTY LITTLE FINGERSThe Ratty Little Fingers create music with anything they can get their grubby little mitts on, according to their website www.therattylittlefingers.com Trying to bring smiles to all they meet, with bubbles, laughs, fog and tears, The Rats will take you on an emotional journey with their theatrical folk. The Ratty Little Fingers feature Katy ‘KingRAt’ McGrath on Vocals, Flute, Guitar, Ukulele and Kazoo, Christian ‘Curly Sandrat’ Sandford on Upright Bass, Melodica, Drums and Backing Vocals and Austin ‘Texas Loverat’ Ray on Banjo, Violin, Accordion and Glockenspiel. The Rats are currently writing and recording songs for an upcoming CD.
RAE CLARKRae describes himself on his myspace page as a man, a guitar, some singing, some merriment, some blues. Friday 11th March at the View Two is a brilliant opportunity to see him in action. Rae takes his influences from a wide range of musicians from Sigur Ros to Pink Floyd, Fairport Convention to Fleet Foxes. MILES CARRINGTONMiles has been performing on the local Liverpool music scene for a number of years now and we are very excited to have him performing at the Liverpool Acoustic Extra launch night gig.
