- PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED – In NEWS BLAST #1 we told you all about the new Live at the Union acoustic night at the LJMU Student Union, Maryland Street starting Thursday 17th February. The guys behind the event are looking for an amateur photographer who’d like to have a go at taking pics of a live event. - BATTLE OF THE LOW-FLYING BANDS – A brand new record label has landed in town. Low Flying Records are looking to get things started by running a Battle of the Bands competition, and there’s nothing in the rules to say that can’t be an acoustic band.
