Have you noticed how the guys at Mellowtone have developed a knack of bringing some of the freshest, up-and-coming musicians to play in our fair city? Recent gigs by David Ford and Liam Frost in recent months prove the point, and their next gig is no exception.
Jesca Hoop is an American singer-songwriter from California. She has previously been mentored by none other than Tom Waits, who described her music as “like going swimming in a lake at night.”
Jesca grew up in the world of folk music but has since made her own musical way in the world, having gone on to tour with the likes of Elbow and Mark Knopfler. Her stop in Liverpool is part of a headline UK tour.
