We received this email from Neil Campbell and Stuart Todd about their farewell gig this coming Sunday.
Hi Folks,
As you may already know Campbell Todd have decided to call it a day. Our last gig will be at The Zanzibar in Liverpool this Saturday 26th April. The night is part of Olde Time Religion, a monthly event organised by the Great Northwestern Hoboes.
Neil and I have had some great times playing together over the years and we’re really looking to playing for you one last time. We’ll be playing as a band, featuring our engineer and friend Andy Fernihough on bass and of course Mark Brocklesby on drums. We’ll be going on early around 8:30pm. Entry is £5 but there are many other bands on the bill. You can find out more on our myspace page.
Would like to say thanks to everyone for their support over the years. If it makes anyone feel any better, we’ve not ruled out working together again in future but we need to try out different things. Neil will be continuing with the Neil Campbell Collective, while I’ll be forming a new group.
The album ‘Campbell Todd’ is still selling in Zavvi on Clayton Square and online but we’ll also be selling the CD at the gig for £5. Neil and I would also like to thank our engineer and friend Andy and Mark for their help and support, they’ve been true pros.
Farewell
Neil & Stu
We at Liverpool Acoustic were sad to hear that Campbell Todd was coming to an end, and we’d like to send our own best wishes to both Neil and Stu on their future projects.
