Following the closure last month of Mathew Street’s View Two Gallery, Liverpool Acoustic is proud to announce the start of a new era in an exciting new venue – 81 Renshaw.
The double award winning Liverpool Acoustic Live showcase is moving to the first Friday of the month starting on 4th August.
However, we just couldn’t wait to get started so we’re launching early with Liverpool Acoustic Extra on Friday 21st July.
Headlining the night will be Liverpool’s long lost singer-songwriter David James Robertson, his first gig back performing after an extended break. Over a 20 year period David travelled the world before returning to the banks of the Mersey to record and launch his well-received 2015 album Forgiven.
Joining David on the bill will be Liverpool Acoustic open mic co-hosts Pete King and Derek King, plus classical guitarist Jenny Byrne.
So why not come along and help Liverpool Acoustic usher in a new era at 81 Renshaw?

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
