Brian Fallon & the Crowes are touring the UK and come to Liverpool O2 Academy on Sunday 20th November.
The Gaslight Anthem singer and guitarist will be performing songs from his debut solo album ‘Painkillers’ as well as fan-favourites.
It’s been quite a year for the New Jersey native, who was recently named by Bruce Springsteen in an interview as his ideal stand in if he could never play a show.
“Having Bruce say if he couldn’t make it to a show that I’d fill in for him, that’s pretty cool,” said Brian. “To have a guy like that, who could pick literally anyone in the world, just to even have my name as the first one that came to his mind, that’s insane.”
Brian returns to the UK following the release of his critically-lauded debut solo album ‘Painkillers‘ (Virgin EMI) in April this year, and performances at Reading and Leeds Festival this summer.
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
