Our final Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon of the year at the View Two Gallery takes place on the afternoon of Saturday 10th September 2016.
Running from 1.00pm to 4.00pm, the afternoon features two booked guest slots sandwiched neatly between lots of lovely open mic slots.
The first guest slot sees the launch of the Liverpool Acoustic Collective’s charity single Someday We’ll See Better Days which will be performed by John Jenkins and a selection of the musicians who contributed to the song. You can read a review and find out all about the single here.
The second guest spot is ably filled by North Wales singer songwriter Andy Bellis with his punk and rock infused acoustic music.
The gallery is open from 12.00pm to 5.00pm, and the afternoon also serves as the launch event for the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge 2016 (full details here).
The bar will be open all afternoon selling a range of alcohol, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
