All change…
- Tuesday night’s weekly Fresh Sessions at Schmooze Wine Bar near Penny Lane is moving to a first-Thursday-of-the-month event from May. If you’re reading this on 1st May you might be in time to catch it, with special guest Brains for Breakfast. Thom Morecroft hosts.
You say goodbye…
- …nothing to report here.
And I say hello…!
- There’s a new Open Mic nigh at Mathew Street Live (above Eric’s) every Wednesday starting on 7th May. It’s hosted by Ian McNabb from The Icicle Works, runs from 9.00pm to 1.00am, and entry is free.
- The Norton Arms in Runcorn has a new Open Mic Night on the first Friday of every month from 8.30pm to 11.00pm. It’s free to attend and they have some decent cast beers! Why not pop along and play a song or two? You might even impress enough to win a slot at the weekly Early Evening Acoustic Sessions which take place every Friday.
- As mentioned in the previous bullet point, the Norton Arms features a different performer every week from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Friday. You can go along to listen and enjoy the good food too. If you want to perform then have a go at the Open Mic first so they can see what you can do. For more information check out their website or facebook.
