The Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon returns to the View Two Gallery for the first time this year on Saturday 12th April 2013.
The gallery will be open from 12.00pm to 5.00pm with the music running from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
We’ve got two booked acts with the rest of the time being taken up with 10 minute open mic slots allocated on a first come, first served basis. Over the past two years this event has been running a number of open mic performers have impressed the Liverpool Acoustic team so much that they’ve ended up being booked for the Liverpool Acoustic Live show and other events. If you’re a performer then come along and play song or two (they are 10 minute slots) on your own instrument. You’re more than welcome to use the View Two Gallery’s grand piano too.
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
