Last night Liverpool Acoustic’s Graham Holland and Stuart Todd attended the awards ceremony at St George’s Hall for the Liverpool Music Awards 2013, and walked away with the award for Live Music Night of the Year for the second year running.
The award was presented by Paul Rutherford (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) who flew in from New Zealand to attend the event, and Steph Corcoran from the category’s sponsor Hotel Indigo.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past year, and everyone who voted for us – your support made all the difference.

Musical collaborations on the night :
Graham and Stuart would like to dedicate this award to the memory of their friend Amanda De Angeles (Amanda Jones) who sadly lost her fight with cancer last month.
Amanda was a talented poet, author and writer, and loved supporting local creative talent in all its many forms. Amanda’s warmth, humour and gentle spirit will be missed by her family and her many friends.
Liverpool Acoustic – Live Music Night of the Year 2013
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
