Liverpool Acoustic Live LMA 2013

Last night Liverpool Acoustic’s Graham Holland and Stuart Todd attended the awards ceremony at St George’s Hall for the Liverpool Music Awards 2013, and walked away with the award for Live Music Night of the Year for the second year running.

The award was presented by Paul Rutherford (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) who flew in from New Zealand to attend the event, and Steph Corcoran from the category’s sponsor Hotel Indigo.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past year, and everyone who voted for us – your support made all the difference.

We must thank:-

  • Ken Martin, the owner of the View Two Gallery, the best acoustic venue in the city
  • Roger Tolley, head of our door team, and our biggest supporter

Amanda De Angeles

Graham and Stuart would like to dedicate this award to the memory of their friend Amanda De Angeles (Amanda Jones) who sadly lost her fight with cancer last month.

Amanda was a talented poet, author and writer, and loved supporting local creative talent in all its many forms. Amanda’s warmth, humour and gentle spirit will be missed by her family and her many friends.
