Neil Campbell and friends at St George’s Hall – Friday 30th November

There’s a special concert coming up on Friday 30th November in the splendour of St George’s Hall Concert Room when Liverpool’s guitar virtuoso Neil Campbell is joined on stage by some very special friends.

The one-off concert will include new guitar duo performances with ace electric guitarist Carlo Bowry (Wizards of Twiddly), excerpts from the recently-toured haunting composition Ghost Stories: A Night Opera featuring Liverpool soprano Anne Taft and stunning visuals by Shaun Taft, songs composed with Sense of Sound Singers musical director Perri Alleyne-Hughes,  and duets with cellist Nicole Collarbone.

Composer and classical guitarist Neil Campbell has been a mainstay of the Liverpool music scene as a solo guitarist for many years, with an ever-growing fan base. As well as performing a series of duets on the night, the audience will also hear the very best of Neil’s solo work to end the evening.

Neil Campbell says: “Having started my musical life as a solo classical guitarist and composer, in more recent years my raison d’être in music making has been about artistic collaboration and all the wonderful unexpected creative results that musicians working together can produce. Performing this concert in the glorious Concert Room of St George’s Hall allows me the rare opportunity to bring together in one evening so many of these wonderful collaborations, whilst helping to showcase the awesome talents of my co-musicians.”

Doors open at 7.00pm for an 8.00pm start on Friday 30th November, and all tickets are £12.50 available online from ticketquarter.co.uk and the box office on 0844 8000 410
