Liverpool Acoustic Newsletter – February 2012

January’s Liverpool Acoustic Live was an amazing night. A jam-packed View Two Gallery (sorry if you didn’t get a seat!) enjoyed some fantastic music rounded off with a cracking acoustic set from The Grande. There was dancing too!

Our third anniversary gig later this month has already sold out online, with only a handful of tickets available on the night on a first-come, first-served basis when the doors open at 8.00pm. The only way to get access to event tickets before they go on general sale is to join our event publicity mailing list by clicking here

We’re not the only ones with a notable date this month, as the Woody Guthrie Folk Club turns into a toddling two-year-old. Check out the Liverpool Acoustic review of December’s WGFC here, then get your tickets for February’s event here. This is a popular night and almost always sells out in advance.

Apologies to any huge stars visiting Liverpool this month, but the biggest name in town has to be Threshold Festival, and Liverpool Acoustic is delighted to be taking part again for this grass-roots event’s second outing. Details of the Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon can be found below.

LIVERPOOL ACOUSTIC AFTERNOON

The Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon @ Threshold is on Saturday 11th February 2012 at Elevator Bar and Cafe on Parliament Street and features a wonderful mix of local, national and international musicians performing from 2pm to 7pm.

Heck, we’ve only just posted all the details in our last News and Reviews post. If you missed it then the link is here.
newsandreviews.liverpoolacoustic.co.uk/2012/01/liverpool-acoustic-afternoon-threshold.html
There’s also a Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight show featuring one track from each of the musicians who are playing for us on the day – well worth listening to, even if we do say so ourselves.

Threshold day and weekend tickets are available from tiny.cc/threshold12tickets

    AND FINALLY…

If you’re a local acoustic musician looking for gigs then don’t forget to check our facebook page on a regular basis as we often have promoters posting to say they have slots free or are booking for future events.

Liverpool Acoustic is now on Soundcloud. We haven’t got much sound to share with you in our cloud just yet, but it’s a really good way for local acoustic musicians to share their sounds with us.
