The Liverpool Fringe Festival will have 2 slots a day throughout August in the 08 place in Liverpool, coinciding with the place being heaving with tourists waiting for the bus tours. People can play or perform for an hour and distribute leaflets about their events, provided they show the fringe logo of course, and can leave their leaflets in the 08 place for the tourists.
This is such an amazing opportunity not only for people to promote themselves and what they may be doing throughout August, and maybe later in the year, but also to do something in front of an audience.
Peter will be coordinating the schedule and if you’d like to take advantage of this then please let us know when you’d be available. The slots are at 11.30am and 2.30pm (TBC). You can do one a week if you think it will help you promote your events.
Don’t forget, if you haven’t registered and paid your admin fee of £10 then we cant put you on the list, so please get that done ASAP!!
And don’t forget to put your existing events on the registration form so we can promote you.
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
