DESCRIPTION:Tonight we have a very special guest as we welcome Phil Cooper’s ‘Thoughts and Observations’ UK tour to Midweek Melodies at 81 Renshaw. Phil launched his brand new album of the same name on 13th April and is traveling the length and breadth of the country sharing his music with friends old and new. \nMidweek Melodies is hosted as usual by the inimitable Dr Derek King\, this is the friendliest open mic night in Liverpool. Musicians can sign up in advance on our facebook page to secure a slot\, or turn up early. \nPlease post on the event page to secure your slot. \nfacebook.com/liverpoolacoustic/events \nAs always we encourage performers to arrive early and stay after they’ve played to support other performers. We have a decent PA at the venue\, a mic and stand\, and some cables as well – if you need extra mics and things please bring your own along.
