DESCRIPTION:Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon and Songwriting Challenge 2018 launch @ 81 Renshaw 01/09/18\n \nThe Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon takes place on the first Saturday of every month at 81 Renshaw. \nThis month the event on Saturday 1st September also marks the launch of the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge 2018. For more information about the Challenge and how to enter visit challenge.liverpoolacoustic.co.uk \nThe afternoon runs from 1.00pm to 4.00pm and features two booked guests with 20 minute sets sandwiched between lovely layers of open mic performers. \nSlots for the open mic are on a first come\, first served basis\, with sign up available from 12.30pm\, half an hour before the event starts. \nPerforming for us this month: \n\nLydia Higham (Songwriting Challenge 2018 winner)\n(guest TBC)\n\nThe event is hosted by Derek King and Stuart Todd \nAs always this event is free. We take a collection which is divided between the booked acts and hosts\, but there’s absolutely no obligation to make a donation. \nThis event takes place in the performance room at the back of the venue\, and is open to all ages.
