DESCRIPTION:<< TICKETS LIMITED >>\n\n\n\nMark and David are singing\, songwriting\, strumming\, and swigging buddies from the badlands of the Cheshire Plain. \n\n\n\nRadcliffe has been on BBC national radio since the early nineties and currently hosts the Radio 2 Folk Show and weekend breakfast on 6Music. He is also the author of five bestselling books\, the latest being Crossroads – In Search Of The Moments That Changed Music.  Previously a member of folk-rock bands The Family Mahone and Galleon Blast\, he is currently one half of electronic duo UNE and drummer and lyricist for Americana band Fine Lines whose lead singer and guitarist is….. \n\n\n\nDavid Boardman. A consummate guitarist and guitar teacher\, David cut his teeth on the rock circuit with Darktown Jubilee touring not only the UK but also North America and Canada. A gifted visual artist\, Boardman met Radcliffe in their hometown of Knutsford where their writing partnership soon began to flourish. \n\n\n\nTheir act is one of classic simplicity: two voices\, two guitars\, some great original songs\, the odd carefully chosen cover and the occasional rambling anecdote. They have recently recorded their debut duo album First Light and have somehow managed to hit the sweet spot between David wanting to do dozens of takes before carefully selecting the best bits and Mark thinking it was alright the first time!

DESCRIPTION:Glasswerk\, in association with Liverpool Acoustic\, present Jon Gomm in concert. \n\n\n\nJon Gomm is a singer-songwriter and acoustic solo performer based in Yorkshire\, UK\, known for his once-seen-never-forgotten virtuoso guitar style. This involves slapping\, tapping and retuning as he plays\, producing a huge\, multi-layered sound filled with bass\, drums and near-orchestral depth and complexity from a single guitar. \n\n\n\nHis songs are often deeply emotive\, whether with or without his soft\, affecting voice. And his live performances are intimate and powerful\, but always punctured by his natural North Of England wit and self-deprecation. \n\n\n\nIn 2020 Jon was voted “Best Acoustic Guitarist In The World” in the largest online poll of its type\, conducted by MusicRadar / Guitar World. \n\n\n\nIbanez guitars launched the JGM10 and JGM5 Jon Gomm Signature Model guitars in 2021. DESCRIPTION:Author and musician Tom Kitching launches his new book and album\, Where There’s Brass\, with a special storytelling and music concert tour. \n\n\n\nDocumenting six months living in the London waterways community\, making the long journey across England from Manchester on a traditional narrowboat built in 1937\, Where There’s Brass tells the story of the contemporary London waterways – a floating slum at worst\, a bohemian\, alternative\, vibrant community at best. It is a love letter to the waterways\, and a rallying cry for what they can be in the future. \n\n\n\nStories old and new are interwoven with a specially composed suite of music\, underpinned by Tom’s long-term accompanist\, the brilliant Nordic mandola player Marit Fält. \n\n\n\nTom’s debut solo album Interloper was listed at #6 in the Sunday Express Albums of the Year 2015. \n\n\n\nTickets for this event include a £1 venue restoration levy\, included in the ticket price. DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 03/04/24 – EXTRA TICKETS RELEASED\n\n\n\nMotel Sundown are an Americana band based in Liverpool made up of three songwriters\, Karen Turley\, Naomi Campbell and Robert Johnson. Formed in 2018\, they combine the sounds they grew up with such as The Beatles\, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan\, with three-part harmonies inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac and Crosby\, Stills\, Nash & Young.  \n\n\n\nIn 2022\, the band released their debut album If You Were Listening\, produced by Mercury Prize nominee Andy Ross and featuring pedal steel legend Gerry Hogan. Since releasing the album\, Motel Sundown have been playing shows across the UK both as a full band and acoustic trio.
