DESCRIPTION:Singer-songwriter Karen Turley launches her brand new EP Like We Used To at the View Two Gallery on Friday 24th March 2017. \nSupport is provided by new duo Hands of Grain (Daniel Saleh & Gabby Hayes-Wishart)\, and local singer-songwriter Joanne Louise. \nIn 2015 Omagh-born\, Liverpool-based Turley\, a former member of bluegrass trio The Jesse Janes\, was chosen to perform ‘in the round’ at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe with US music legends Beth Nielsen Chapman and Don Henry. A busy 2016 saw her supporting Xander and the Peace Pirates\, and playing at the Liverpool Acoustic Festival\, Chorlton Arts Festival\, and the inaugural Folk Festival on the Dock. Karen’s new EP was recorded in December 2016 and features four brand new songs from the rising country star. \nSo come along to the View Two Gallery and see one of folk and Americana’s rising stars performing in an intimate setting.
