The entry event will take place on Saturday 8th October.

The View Two Gallery on Mathew Street will be open to the public as normal from 12pm to 5pm.

Liverpool Acoustic will be hosting the Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon from 1pm to 4pm. During this time songwriters are invited to come along and have a look around the View Two Gallery, one of Liverpool’s best independent art galleries.

To enter the challenge a songwriter will choose a piece of art in the gallery that inspires them. They then register their details with the Liverpool Acoustic team. The songwriter then has a month in which to write a new song inspired by their chosen work of art.

The number of entries will be limited, and will be allocated on 8th October on a first come, first served basis.

If for any reason a songwriter wishes to enter the challenge but cannot attend on Saturday 8th October then if there are any spaces available they can visit at a later date during normal gallery opening hours and follow the instructions on the entry form that will be available for them to fill in.
