Liverpool Acoustic unveil 2018 Autumn Season with Hafdis Huld and more

Liverpool Acoustic unveil 2018 Autumn Season with Hafdis Huld, Phil Hare, 50 Years of the White Album, and exciting new vocal duos show

Liverpool Acoustic unveil their first ever Autumn Season covering September to December 2018 with a series of events at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall Music Room, LEAF on Bold St, and 81 Renshaw.

This exciting programme includes the long-awaited return to Liverpool of Icelandic songbird Hafdis Huld (10th November), and guitar wizard Phil Hare, formally of local favourites Full House (5th October).

The season kicks off on Saturday 1st September with the launch of the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge during the Liverpool Acoustic Afternoon.

There’s a full day of music on Saturday 6th October as Liverpool Acoustic joins forces with Heaven’s Gate for a day-long We Shall Overcome event, raising much needed funds for Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS).

On 22nd November Roxanne de Bastion, Thom Morecroft and house band The Ragamuffins will be joined by a selection of very special guests to present 50 Years of the White Album, recreating and reinterpreting The Beatles’ double disc classic 50 years to the day since its release.

After his sold out album launch earlier in the year Paul Dunbar and the Black Winter Band is back at the Music Room on 11th December for another foot-stomping show.

And finally, 5th December at the Music Room sees It Takes Two: Merseyside’s Best Vocal Duos – an exciting new show that sees ME and Deboe, Limerance, Two Black Sheep, and White Little Lies performing on the same bill. This is a real treat for lovers of vocal harmonies performed by eight superbly talented musicians

Tickets for all of the shows can be found along with further information at liverpoolacoustic.co.uk/events

Some shows are likely to sell fast (Hafdis Huld and Paul Dunbar sold out last time!), so now is a great time to secure an early Christmas present or two for the music fans in your life.

Come and join Liverpool Acoustic for their Autumn Season and support live music in Liverpool in 2018.
