We love Iain Till! There’s something really quite special about his gentle songs and endearing performances. Previously part of Liverpool favourites The City Walls and a regular on the North West acoustic scene, Iain self released two folk and country-tinged EPs to much acclaim.
Now, after a (far too long!) break he’s set to launch his brand new EP called In The Clouds on Friday 22nd June 2018 at 81 Renshaw.
Melodic, pop sensibilities abound on this his new offering, in a return to a full band format and a sound paying homage to influences such as Big Star, Teenage Fanclub and Neil Young. Expect a wry smile and irreverent banter along with finely crafted songs.
On the launch night Iain will play two separate sets – acoustically, accompanied by Cellist Stephanie Kearley, and a second set with a full electric band.

As well as the launching of the In The Clouds EP, which will be available on the night, upon entry there will be a free Iain Till CD for all attendees, containing outtakes, demos and miscellaneous recordings.
Support on the night is from Mudcat Landing, Liverpool’s own driving 4-piece who hurl their Americana influences into a huge mixing pot of Scouse and serve up a nourishing bowl of 100% original rootsy rock. “In a perfect world there would be more bands like Mudcat Landing” Whisperin’ and Hollerin’.
