Liverpool Acoustic unveil 2018 Spring Season with The Spinners Legends, Merry Hell, Ewan McLennan and more
Liverpool Acoustic unveil their first ever Spring Season with a series of events at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall Music Room and 81 Renshaw from February to May 2018.
This exciting programme includes firm favourites Merry Hell, Will Kaufman as Woody Guthrie, Little Sparrow and Elfin Bow, alongside new faces Lee Southall (The Coral) and Scottish folk sensation Ewan McLennan.
The highlight of the 2018 Spring Season takes place in May when two of the original Spinners return to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall as The Spinners Legends in a special concert that’s not to be missed.
Liverpool Acoustic’s Graham Holland said: “We’re extremely excited to announce our first every Spring Season in 2018. Expanding from our regular venue at the intimate 81 Renshaw to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall’s fabulous Music Room has enabled us to bring a range of musical performances to suit all tastes. And to finish off with The Spinners Legends is just the icing on the cake!”
Liverpool Acoustic is the only website of its kind in the UK. It was founded by Graham Holland in April 2008 as a central resource for the vibrant and exciting acoustic music scene in Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area. The website publishes news from the local acoustic music scene, previews of upcoming events, reviews of music releases and gigs, and the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight podcast. This content is available for free via email subscription. The diary lists acoustic events including festivals, theatre concerts, folk clubs, showcases and open mic nights.
